EMachines was a manufacturer of budget-priced personal computers: desktops and laptops. The company was headquartered in Irvine, California. EMachines was founded in 1998 as a Korean computer manufacturer. It provided low-cost computers, which were sold with a contract with an Internet provider. In 2000, eMachines was one of the leading providers of personal computers. The same year the company completed its initial public offering. The products of eMachines were of comparatively decent quality and the hardware lasted a long time and was easy to be replaced.

In 2004 eMachines was acquired by Gateway and Gateway in its turn was acquired by Acer in 2007. Please try to contact Emachines Customer Service directly prior to posting any complaints on this site.
